Well, my chemistry is a little rusty, but I couldn't see any flaws in the theory. I'm a little skep-tickle of the energy balance he quotes, though. I would have guessed closer to 50% positive.

People think I'm crazy, though. I make over 1,000 gallons of Biodiesel in my garage every year...

Unfortunately the energy balance is something like negative 135%

Buy a diesel, and I can help you drive for almost free (Well, real cheap anyway.) I operate my 83 Chevy conversion van cheaper than a Geo Metro.
