Taing sibh, Lunatock!! Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig oraibh!!
If any of you are planning on going out tonight and celebrating in true Irish fashion, here are a few phrases that you might use (though I doubt anybody will actually find someone that speaks or understands Gaelic):
An bhfuil tú ar meisce fós? = Are you drunk yet?
Pionta Guinness, le do thoil. = A pint of Guinness, please.
Tá tú go h-álainn. = You're beautiful.
Sláinte chugat. = Good health be with you. (F*** Bennigan's on this one...)
A ceathair tuille, buidhe. = Four more, please.
Feud faigh bhur àireamh? = Can I get your number?
I'll leave after that one... nobody's probably gonna get to use any of 'em anyway... have fun though, everyone be safe, and Rath Dé ort! ("May the grace of God be with you!")
*EDIT - P.S., my name's Patrick McClellan, go figure...
“Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.” Benjamin Franklin, 1759
