The following letter commends a Lockheed Martin avionics representative in K-Bay, Hawaii for his support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Mr. James M. Parolise
Director P-3/S-3 Programs
Lockheed Martin AeronauticsCo.
P.O. Box 134
NAS Jacksonville, FL 32212
Dear Mr. Parolise:
I’m writing this letter to advise you of the exceptional, unmatched support Mr. Tim Hodges provided my squadron while deployed in support of Operation Eduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Faced with numerous avionics challenges that proved beyond the capability of my Avionics Technicians, Mr. Hodges arrived in Bahrain and immediately became the driving force behind my squadron’s avionics efforts. Twice, he selflessly volunteered to extend his stay, always stating he would do whatever it took to ensure our aircraft mission systems were fully mission capable.
I would not imagine achieving our high level of avionics proficiency without the continued assistance of NATEC representatives like Mr. Hodges. He is truly an indispensable asset.
Sincerely,
D.G. Smith
Commander, U.S. Navy
Commanding Officer
THE RAMPTOR ENGINEERING TEAM
"Who cares if it works? Does it look good on the ramp?"
