Yes...I'm bragging...sue me...lol...for those of ya'll that know me or knew me 10 years ago when I was a young smart ass A1C...this boy has grown up...I guess Dice & a few others instilled something in me back then...I've gone from a WG-8 to a GS-12 in just over 6 years...so yeah, I'm not trying to be cocky, but at the same time I'm kind of proud of my achievement...and the best part, I've made my progress through my skills not by kissing ass or being a "yes" man...anyways...just figured a few of ya'll would want to know...

I think your military service will help you in your new postion because, from what I've seen in a lot of GSs, they have no "connection" with the militry memebrs they are paid to support.

Thats so true, I work with a lot of retired NCOs and a lot of them forget to, get trapped in the "Civil Service" world and forget that we are here to support and serve the DOD.
