I'm afraid it is, Snipe. I was after his friend, and he got caught in the cross-mojination.

Homer, you might like to know that I also went on a couple dates with a German guy. Much better kisser, and much cuter too. He's in the Luftwaffa (sp?) now... (sighs with a smile)

Sorry, I pretty much derailed this thread, didn't I? Let's go back to discussing what piss-ants the French are for desecrating the graves of their saviors.

statistically proven: germans kiss better than french !!!
I know why, they dont have to teach them german Luftwaffe guys how to shoot, perhaps they teach them how to kiss instead???

Yeah, Mattlot, I really missed on that one. I was on the rebound, what can I say? Made in USA tag? Yeah, the only foreign guys around here are Italian (ick) so I guess I don't have to worry about it much. Lots of corn-fed good ol' Oklahoma boys, though!

Hey Lunatock, do you have the accent? I want the accent! mmmm, Tom Cruise in Far and Away...

Seriously, we were ranting about the French. I feel a little guilty joking around on a serious thread. What they did really was low.

That's right Goose! I forgot about our bet! Well, I've been looking, but none of the other student pilots ever want to date, because we're all too busy. I'm pretty busy myself, so I haven't really put my full effort into it either. But I'm sure once I get to my operational unit there will be some nice men there! You may get your steak dinner yet!

IRL (Asia Argento maybe being the exception to the rule) But an Italian ex was a bad first impression of that countries women-type folk. At least IMO thier nothing compared to Baltic gals.

Not usually, but I can manage the accent though. But far and away was very stereotypical of Irishman, why I'd never even consider hitting someone like Tom Cruise's character always seemed to in that movie.

But back to the grave vandalism. In that case forgetting about increasing that stereotype, not to mention breaking the "self defense rule" would be worth any guilt, or a lecture & large amount of pushups as punishment wouldn't it?, apon seeing some Frenchman get brave enough to pick on dead American & British Soldiers?

Actually, now that you mention it, my T-1 partner WAS a crew chief, and he's a nice, good-looking hunk. Is that close enough? It may have to be, because otherwise crew chiefs are off-limits for me...

Air2Mudd- from the other thread, I'm glad you asked! It was something one of my IPs said during a not-so-good flight. The Tweet O2 system is controlled ON/OFF in the cockpit with a green switch. Up is ON, down is OFF. If you are wearing your mask and you turn it OFF, you can't breath. Hence, after my second go-around from a crappy pattern, he just said "See that green switch? Flip it down."

About this bet...Does your end of it require you to get married in four & a half years? You know if thats the case, then would you be above getting married, getting the money, then getting the marriage annuled the next day?

Too bad the bets only for 100.00 though, but I'd help you win...in exchange for a steak, not unlike the one Goose mentioned. And a marriage "ending badly" could benefit us both with seeing other people, that is if your not above faking a broken heart

I could predict things on my end: "I'm so sad I can barely put myself in a food coma with this steak."

"Guys...I'm going down"

Actually, you got it backwards Lunatock. I think how the bet came about was that I wrote something about never wanting to get married. Goose chimed in and bet me that I would be married in 5 years (now 4.5). If I am, I owe him a steak dinner.

I must admit, I rather enjoy being single! Things may change once I'm not a student and live a fairly regular life (if there is such a thing in the military) but for now I'm good with just hanging out with buddies on the weekends. Sorry Goose!
