LOL, thanx for the compliment BR, it's nice to know i'm not viewed as some bloodthirsty maniac(ok, well maybe i am- but for other reasons i hope).

I try to spread my views as best i can, but a public life is not something i either desire or seek.

It is people like you BR- those still serving or those about to serve- that are our one true voice. You are the ones that will deliver our message to the enemy.

I plan on doing just that. In the thread I posted about the IDF Memorial Day, I also posted the Vow that I wrote.

no, these people are followers and "true believers", you wont get any co-operation from these people because their regular life is a latrine with a hole where a door used to be, and they ACTUALLY believe they have a better slot in the afterlife. Only when the leaders, religeous or otherwise, start dissapearing ( and not just one or two) will any change happen. When the leaders see thier lifestyle and very lives up for grabs PERHAPS something good will start to happen, not before. The Mosques were legit targets as soon as we saw the photos of the weapons stored inside. BUT due to the WMD intel disaster the photos are worthless to the rest of the world "you faked them" etc will be the cry when we hit them and I dont particularly care. I wish we had a bomb that wouldent kill kids, but we dont. Truthfully it's about time we got another display of the basic fact that war is a bad thing and it should only be used as a last resort and is something that should be feared. War is not a "Superman" that sweeps in, does good and flys away. It is a Tornado that devastates without regard. In war people die, good people, bad people, stupid people, smart people, it's the nature of the beaste. ODS was a dangerouse illusion, in ODS II we thought we could walk in and the enemy would run away and the women and children would all hail us as rescuers, didnt happen. We are taking our hits in this one and maybee that's a sick kind of good medicine for us to make sure we dont try it this way again. Over-whelming force rarely fails it seems to me, it gets unweildy and cumbersome and confusing, BUT it generally works. "Just in time" and "on the floor warehousing" may work in buisness but it's not the way to fight a conflict. Napalm would accomplish the task and ease clean-up and disease control afterwards.

This much is for sure. This guy went on his own accord, a good blue blooded capitalist to Iraq to make some money. He hopped a plane to Jordan and then a taxi, yeah a frikkin taxi all the way to Baghdad. He couldnt find any work so he went home for a couple months and then went back again to Baghdad via the same route. I am a capitalist and I am all for free enterprise but this guy must have a had a huge set of 'em to do that all on his own. Which is probably why he was detained. The FBI or CIA or whoever detained him probably couldnt believe that he was doing this as an adventure and and as a business opportunity.
I am no prude but I have to say I was sickened and really tore up inside when I saw the video. To be truthfull guys I didnt have the stomach to watch all of it. I couldnt.
It really pisses me off that American people can be so shallow and forget about the other massacred civillians. Snipe is way on target here. What about Daniel Pearle, and the other soldiers dragged and burned ? What about the Moslem extremists in the Phillipines that murdered a missionary right in front of his wife ? This wasnt because of prison abuse. These people are just plane freaks and need to be eradicated......................period. And the worst part about it is that there really are alot of Iraqi people and indeed Arabians in general that would give their left nut to be able to be an Westerner, but they will never get the chance.

When i think of the war we are in i am reminded of the Italian hostage that was murdered last month. It was such a brutal execution that not even Al Jazeera would air it.

When he realized he was about to die, Fabrizio Quattrocchi spat upon his murderers and said with pride, "Now see how an Italian dies!"

THAT is the kind of resolve and commitment we all need to have in order to emerge victorious. There is nothing less than our very way of life at stake. This is not a war on terror, it is the opening stages of WWIII.

I pray that we have the intestinal fortitude to see this to the end. If we fail our children will be subjugated to these animals. We must NEVER let that happen.
