I was watching this show on cable it is a joke. Women spending 100,000 on dressings. Upset about not having enough alcohol. Bitching because nothing is right.

Father's paying 175,000 for daughters weddings. My daughter I can assure you will get a justice of the peace, 45 dollar walmart gift certificate, and maybe a shotgun held on the groom. Anything more well comes out of the groom's family pockets.

See Stress I guess I am just a cheap bastard. All I could think of when watching that show is the guy is gonna cheat on her in a year, and divorce in two years. You know todays odds. Meaning you gotta hire a gwedo to recover the investment yada yada yada. If it truly love the money is better spent setting the family up on a firm footing. Id buy my daughter a house before paying 100,000 on a wedding.

I agree with you, mattlott. Invest in the marriage, not the wedding.
