ok here is the run down I have degree in Paramedicine. Years ago I moved on off the streets to start my own company, got tired of trying to play within the politics of nursing homes and other garbage. Always loved treating patients have many who I was priviledge to assist in staying on this earth. A few of whom I still keep in contact with. Other who are fond memories to counter the nightmares.
When I started my own telemedicine business years ago I was forced to decide where to place my priorities, while focusing on developing the technology which was for EMS and disaster medicine I let my recertification lapse. It was just too time consuming to maintain.
Well that witch Katrina wiped out the business and for the past 6 months I have been recertifying. What a nightmare.
The practicals are an intense hands on test. With alot of mental role playing directing a scene with multiple partners and a scenerios. I will know about my score on the written exam within the next week or so.
If all goes well i will be working by the end of the month in rural lousiana town and getting back to patients. While I try to reserect my technology business and couple it with a free market disaster management bussiness. Seems FEMA's failures are begining to make a disaster response company look promising.
I have been blessed to have built my technology concepts even though the business was lost. The concepts are going to be put to good use as I rebuild, having my paramedic will allow me to legally treat patients again.
My main focus is to get a pay check from routine EMS. But be in a position as business to respond during hurricanes, bird flu, and general mayham. Too much to explain here but I am excited to get back to patient care.
Guys thank you for all the help this year. Mudd I want to talk with you about the knee boards. can you email me the dimensions.
