Peeping pilot ejected

IDF dismisses pilot found peeping at female soldiers taking shower
Hanan Greenberg

Head of IDF Directorate Major-General Elazar Stern has decided to eject an Air Force pilot caught peeping at female soldier's showers at his base, after he was "in distress due to the disengagement."

The 'peeping pilot' rejected the decision and has filed a petition to the chief of staff, in which he presents evidence by an expert that he suffered from post-battle shock following the disengagement.

Emotional Distress

The unusual incident, first uncovered on Ynet, took place at the end of 2005. Female soldiers showering at an Air Force base in central Israel became aware that someone was looking at them.

The pilot's commanders were not overly impressed with the original line of defense and decided to ground the officer for the time being.

Attorney: No moral failure

Military Advocate General Brigadier-General Avi Mandelblit has ordered that the pilot be subjected to a disciplinary trial, in which he was convicted on two counts of indecent behavior.

The IDF Spokesperson's Office confirmed the story and added that "the officer's reinstatement into the army is currently being considered."

"There's no moral failure by the officer," said Almogit Avital, a lawyer representing the pilot.

"He experienced a crisis as a result of an event he underwent during his service, and therefore there is no reason to punish him like this," she added.

I suggest the "boys will be boys" defense or the "Attractive nuisance" defense. It was his patriotic duty to peek. His lawyer could use the "Babes of War" thread from WT in his defense. No jury of his peers would convict him.

The worst for him was probably the IDF Maidles who may have caught this guy who they suspected and at the same time blocked his exfil.

I think back to Hawkeye on MASH he would have never survived this mans army--wait he could have been kicked out for being himself.

Now Klinger would be screwed, as the military would find his behavior normal now lol.

Seriously I saw the Isreali army was testing some sort of radar/infared devices for taking out consealed snipers/bombers. Anyone seen anymore information on that.
