What's the best car racing game for PC? I was looking at Gran Turismo but it's just for Playstation. Brownells calls me Aaron Burr cause the way I'm droppin Hamilton$ |

ive been playing the hell out of Nascar 2k3, only because my computer wont play newer games, since i cant process fast enough.... check out your local Best Buy and cruise the gaming section, post back what you pick up that or blow 200 dollars for a Ps2 and Grand Turismo, only to realize the ps3 comes up in a few months (i hope) Nascar 2k6 is awesome for ps2, right up until my ex-gf took her ps2 back from me <img src=newicons/madani.gif border=0 align=middle> now i got a 55 dollar game and nothing to play it with |

It's a bit older, but IMO NFS Porsche unleashed is the greatest racing game of all time from a handling/road manners perspective. (Be sure to get a good wheel). <img src="http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b343/m21sniper/OnTheJobEnhanced.jpg" border=0> <b>"One post, One Kill".</b> |

Been auditioning demos. TOCA Race Driver 3, great damage effects and graphics, but boring. GTR, good graphics, nice tracks, decent damage, but too twitchy and again boring. With both of these games you definatly have the impression that the AI cars are robotic with each car pretty much following the very same line all the time. Also just started playing with NFS Most Wanted, I'm not sure if there is any damage effect at all graphically, but the graphics are ASTOUNDING! Worlds ahead of the other two games for looks and fun factor, havent raced enough to judge the AI, awsome in game music too. I can tell you the AI in the older NFS High Stakes is awsome, been playing it for years now and there is nothing like having an AI car with a vendeta against you, sacrificing it's racing just to pound you!! Even better is watching two AI cars in your mirror crash each other into the weeds for no apparent reason over and over again lolol. The replays are as entertaining as the race!!
