For those not on my Myspace friends list, today is surgery day for my left foot and leg. These damn injections of blood thinners suck, but I'm going to enjoy my 2 weeks (yeah, I had 30 days for the last one!!) of Con Leave. Once I'm coherant I'll be back on here and we'll see if I get another clot. Start the pools now because the surgery is at 1400 Eastern, 1100 Pacific. See you when the meds wear off!! You might be a "Bulldog" if: You bend over and grab your ankles when you hear: "EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE!" |

coming from a guy who just had surgury last monday, i wish you the best. i had my tonsils and uvula (the little flappy thing in the back) removed and im finally able to eat food again. the best way to lose weight: have surgury on your food hole so you cant put anything down it. and doing this: to blueberries after you eat them leaves a great taste in your mouth! |

Well I'm home now. The surgery went well. I'm on Percocet & Flexeril. Oh Booms, I can't even tell the difference so... Now I'm going to enjoy my two weeks of recovery. Spend some time with my wife and daughter, and get some Playstation 2 in. Anyone play Battlefield 2 online for the PS2? Thanks for the kind words everyone! P.S. Goose, it's been taken care of for now. I'll give you a buzz over the weekend to explain more. I knew I titled this post correctly. It turns out, even after all the thinners I've been taking I developed another blood clot. This time in my left leg. Maybe I better play the Lotto soon with my luck. Spent a good 6 hours in the ER last night/this morning because of it. I haven't been able to get my INR (Bleed time as they call it.) above 2.0. But I'm supposed to be between 2.0 & 3.0. Looks like Warfarin (Coumadin) will be my new best friend for a while. The upside to all this is that I got some stronger painkillers. If the Percocet put me down, I'm sure these will be just as nice. But I'll still be back to work on Thursday! (What a Freaking crock!!!) I'm all over that Goose. Saw my PCM today, extended my con leave another week. Looks like I'll be on the thinners for at least 6 months possibly 12 months. And the vicodin didn't help. Back to the couch!! You might be a "Bulldog" if: You bend over and grab your ankles when you hear: "EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE!" |
