I see you guys south again got POUNDED! almost the same area as before with Ice and Snow.

We dodged that Bullet but, We got RAIN and lots of it! I'd say around 8\"+ in the last 30 days.
Its been Ok since it comes in waves and staying above freezing but now its going to Go from 40F to 18F tonight with a wind chill of -5f so that'll be a

So check in and let us know who is \"Kicking\"

Jack,

Snow is one thing unless in the Plains, but these Heavy Ice storms these folks are having and its been not even that long since the last ones took out all their power.
Hell Champaign IL is still picking up broken limbs from the last storm and so is Hogsnorts area.
Denver area Thats just an AWFUL THING, when you have to do hay drops,
(another reason you have National Guard Troops should be HOME)
But ICE STORMS to me are the worst.

So my guess is 30MM and HogSnort along with Boomer got hit pretty hard.

Here in West MI, there isnt much to report. from where im at, there was an ice storm warning to the south, heavy snow warning to the north, and a winter storm warning here. 5-8\" to the north while here was going to ice, then change to snow and get 3-5\"

it was raining/sleeting between 10 and 12 last night, i went to bed at 1am, looked outside and saw a light dusting.

woke up to about 2.5-3 inches, which brings us up to a winter total of about 15\" out of a projected 85.5\" for the season. this was the first time it snowed in approx. 43 days.

We got very lucky this time, it went both north and south of us ( by only about 20 miles ) we only got about a half inch of ice and the roads have stayed JUST warm enough that it didnt freeze much on them. The trees and bushes are loaded though, was out for about an hour last night after dark and you could hear a tree fall or large branch break about once a minute. Power has been off and on all weekend.

As of now its dropped 5 degree's last couple hours and snowed for about 10 minutes.

Calling for freezing rain into snow tonight, with low around 5 degrees. High tomorrow maybe topping at 19.

Spokane is just snowy from what we got last week. A friend of mine is at Sheppard going through JETS school and they are on lockdown due to the ice storm.
My borther is in Missouri helping with the tree cleanup and power restoration (he is a line clearance tree trimmer out of Metro Detroit). I heard it's bad there.

I've got 3' of snow in the yard, and over 5' along the driveway, and motrin being delivered by the pallet load. Oh my achin' back. I think I'm getting too old for this stuff.

This weekend we never got above 15 F. ImageImageImage

Dang, it was warmer than this in Antarctica. I've got to get back there.

Last Thursday-Friday made it 4 consecutive Thursday-Friday snows. My Malamute isn't complaining, but I'm starting to get tired of it. Got about 4-5 inches out of this past weekends drop. At least it didn't blizzard for a 4th time

It hasn't been below 25 here and that was for just one day last week. Mostly we are having record highs. Today was absolutely beautiful. Yesterday and today it broke 70. Weather man says cold front on the way, predicting temps in the 40's, LOL. You Yankees enjoy that cold.

Lights flickered a few times over the weekend, but some out there are still without power-God bless. We had a thaw Sunday, most of the ice melted, but it's back down below now, and snowing outside.

Same here, boomer. Dodged the worst of it. With all the rain though, the ground froze solid last night. With any luck it caught those *&^%$ moles off-guard. Spent most of the weekend witha sick hard drive that eventually went T.U. Replacement should arrive today. :(

I was walking around outside in shorts today. This winter has been by far the warmest i can ever remember. I think it's friggin' great. :)

About 10-12 years ago we had an ice storm where everything got encased in about an inch of solid ice.

That was pretty wild, totally shut the city down for about 2 days.

That nice in PA? Hell, we have had about 30 minutes of snow in the Vegas valley, if not a little more in some areas. We spent all weekend with a solid freeze every night. Not terrible, since I am from the midwest, but damn cold for Vegas. I mean, c'mon...we had a high of 70 a week ago....and now lows in the 20s. WTF??

Goose?

You get you a little snow Sunday Morning?
We got about 3 inches I guess. Was a nice dusting.

No ice or anything, I just swept it off my truck windows with a small broom attachment to the ice scraper
