Post subject:  TEXAS FLOODS

Hey how many of you folks down in Texas are having problems?
My Girls live down their in the \"Hill Country\" and they have been flooded out since the 1st week of June due to the \"Towns\" stupid ASS Lay-out>
They live on a hill but have a drainage ditch behind them and the flow was diverted because of a \"New Golf Course\".
No biggy until they get now over 23\" of rain, They had to get out around the 7th of June due to it and almost got to start repairing until these bigger rains came in, they live over by Marble Falls ,about 20 miles or so away and Fort Hood is north of them.
So last I heard from them the \"House\" was a total loss now, but they have flood insurance unlike most of the others.
But DAMN!! THATS ALOT OF F-ING RAIN! I can't imagine what a 18\" rain in one 24 period is like?
I've been thru Hurricanes, Monsoons, and \"Toad Stranglers\" (7\" in 3 hours)but constant rain every day never like that.

Dad and I have been talking , If we have too we're going to take the \"Golden Bear\" and make a recovery run down there and bring them here with their stuff, let the EX live with her family.
We have what we need in the shed to be prepared to load up to go so just waiting.

Those Folks there and Oklahoma got it Bad.

We're in Austin but haven't had any problems. I took some video of the floodgates at Mansfield Dam. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBFPm2RG_Tw

Weasel,

They got flooded out due too where they were at , like Marble Falls, certain places got \"TONS\" rain ,
They had their House entirely gutted in the inside, putting in new \"wiring, mechanical, sheet rock, carpet, cabinets and all the appliances thats not including the other stuff.
The EX got here check the other day for the damage , the city fixed the drainage problem when the folks behind them woke up with \"3ft\" of water in their back yard almost to their door steps, but he is a city contractor.

Pretty bad he saw it since the 1st week of June and didn't give a \"F\" UNTIL IT EFFECTED HIM.

So they hope to be back in it by the end of July.

Man!
Mainfield Dam looks
I know the area thats amazing. For the dam to be \"Flushing Water\"

Maybe it will finally quit and go West

They really need it.
