Next Thursday August 16 is Elvis gone for 30 years. I am a big fan of his music (like more kinds of different music not only his). Like most his rockin' ages in the 50's and early 60's. Are here also fans of Elvis Presley? And did somebody visit Graceland in the past or gonna visit in the future? Lived just south of Memphis from 04-06. Passed the Almighty Gates of Graceland on an almost daily basis never stopped to look! My \"touch\" with Elvis! My father graduated high school in 1957. For his Senior Trip they took a bus trip to Biloxi Mississippi and spent a few days playing on the beach. On their way back to small town Illinois, they stopped near Graceland for a bite to eat and a stretch of their legs. My Dad and 2 others were interested in 3 or 4 guys tossing a football in the front yard at Graceland, and thus walked over. He said the gates of Graceland were open as they were busy welding the musical notes onto the gate's. The football got loose, Dad picked it up and tossed it back, and he heard....Thank Ya....Thank YA Very Much! I have asked several of my Dads classmates that I know.......they all swear its true! OK OK ....now for a bcad joke before I close this out.......... What would Elvis be doing right now, IF he were alive today?................................................................... Scratching and Clawing at the inside of his coffin begging for air!!
