Not me personally but one of our Air Force brethren. A SSgt stationed in Elmendorf is trying to get custody of hie 2 children from their physically & sexually abuse mother and her boyfriend who live in Florida. I was told about this via another forum I'm part of http://www.afforums.com. Here is a link to the youtube copy of the local news report.

You'll have to register to \"Digg\" the article, but it's well worth the time. And you guys are more than welcome to join up on AFEF (the afforums.com site I mentioned). It's a little brash at times but we do give some good info to people interested in joining the AF.

The only thing I know is that Your friend would have to go to Florida , Hire an Attorney and ask for a \"Temporary order of Full Custody \" Hearing and make sure he has someone who can watch the kids when he is at work or gets Deployed like his Parents or if he has Re-married then thats better.

And have in the order he can take them out of state, a Good Lawyer can do this over the phone, so fast that she wouldn't know what hit her.
If need be the US Marshal's would have an order to get the Kids.
