So i come home from work last night...

Post subject:  So i come home from work last night...
And there is a dead man in a car RIGHT in front of my house. He'd been shot 2 blocks away, and tried to escape. He passed out at my corner and smashed into a bunch of parked cars. When i walked up i could hear him gargling in his lungs....he was dead in less than a minute after that.

He took one 9mm shot to the gut.

Holy @#!%**! And I bet you thought YOU had a hard day at work! Dude that is a little freaky, sounds like right out of a movie. I bet the cops had 150 questions for you, eh? (that is assuming you called them!)

Sounds freaky like Hogdog says. Lucky for you the shooting happened 2 blocks away as nobody wants to be the innocent bystander taking a bullet as well.... [tard]

This stuff is 'normal' here.

Last month a truant officer who lives around the corner from me got into an argument with his step son and shot him to death.

Last year my neighbor caddy-corner to me got stabbed to death on his porch.

Or what you told me, about the neighbor beating his wife...and the cops took numerous calls and a long time to do anything.

Or did they not do anything?

The cops never showed up at all that day despite several calls to 9-11. I ended up going over and knocking on their door myself.

It was fast 30mm. From the time he got hit til the time he lost consciousness was under a minute. And he was dead in maybe a minute after that.

Yeah, that gives all kinds of warm fuzzy feelings. Not sure I'd go into a neighborhood like that without a tank. Or at least a GAU-8 on my hip. :roll:

I think I'd invest in a \"Vest\" and a little more \"Fire Power\" , looking at that place, because it already looks like a Tank and a GAU worked it over already.

You better get you FAC and \" CAS\" A-10 Support , they can just call it \"Training on their Debrief \" or a Squad of Grunts who need \"Urban Combat\" training before for being Deployed. Give them the \"Finest training \" for a Fraction of the cost!
Then the MEDVAC Staff could use the \"Real World\" training before deploying too.

You get your Repo, and Support the Armed Forces WIN WIN!

No seriously Snipe \"Check your \"6\" AT ALL TIMES, and watch out for those \"Indian\"tricks I wouldn't put it past anyone these days planting an IED to keep their car from being \"RE-PO'ed!
