Dont know if I told everyone, but I am fully retired now. Got tired of asking for a little raise, and being told we cant afford to right now. And then they turn around and purchase a million dollar crane,a new pickup for the crane crew, and then another new crane. When I turned 62, I told my wife I was going to retire, and she said ''Go ahead, we can make it''She is retired, and drawing disability for her knees, and working part time at the job she retired from. I will be making about the same $$$$$ I was driving the truck, only I won't have to work for it.
I may try and find a part time job somewhere down the line, but not any time soon. For now I am doing volunteer work at the Retiree Affair Office on Moody. If any of you Moody guys find yourself in the Headquarters building, come see me, and introduce yourself. Our office is to the left hallway like going to finance, just past the coffee bar. I am there Tues, and Thurs from noon till 1500.
