Today is it 67 years ago that the allies came to Normandy for D-Day. Operation Overlord.
Last year i visit the beaches Omaha and Utah, also the American war cemetary, Point du Hoc, St Mere Eglise and Pegasus Bridge. It was a great tour.
I live in Europe and i hope that generations after me also never forget when, what and where the freedom started and who gave their lives for our freedom.

Remember the fallen allies

My daughter will certainly remember this D-Day....she's on a plane to Ft Jackson to start her military career.
