Part of tech school is to be OC sprayed. It's not for \"fun\" or whatever though, it's part of a whole scenario, that if you ever have to use it and get backblast, you've already experienced it and know you can finish the fight. I won't go into details of how the whole thing goes down for opsec's sake, but its more than just get sprayed and then decontaminate. IT. FUCKING. HURTS. Your eyes and skin are on FIRE and your breath is completely taken away. It feels like an elephant is stepping on your chest. I couldn't breath; words cannot describe how bad this is. Water helps decon a little, but for the most part it's just time. Snot running everywhere, gagging, burning... it's intense to say the least. |

Are you sprayed with spray what policemen normally use? Mine goodness, that is no fun. Are you feeling better now? Good luck on the tech school. |

ugg I know the feeling. When I went through the gas chamber in basic I thought it wasn't going to be that bad. Everyone was scared and nervious but I wasn't. I was sure it wasn't going to be nearly as bad as everyone made it out to be. I was wrong! that frecken sucked. |

A few people in our class have been through the gas chamber (I never have). They say that the camber is NOTHING compared to OC spray. They laughed about the chamber when asked about it in comparison. It's really impossible to describe the level of intensity. If you ever see a can of it, avoid getting sprayed AT ALL COSTS. If it's a bad guy, either attack first or GTFO. If its a cop, DO WHATEVER HE SAYS, and argue later. |

Tear gas, CS, is really minor compared to OC. I've had CS straight from the cannister, and while it sucks, it was nothing compaired to the minor wiff I got of OC when a cannister I was carrying squirted a little into a car seat as I climbed into a squad car. |

30mm Jr said he'd rather ride the lightning than go through the OC again. |

OC is really nasty. I've sprayed several people over the years with it. Never had it fail me. |
