Today is it 67 years ago that the allies came to Normandy for D-Day. Operation Overlord. Last year i visit the beaches Omaha and Utah, also the American war cemetary, Point du Hoc, St Mere Eglise and Pegasus Bridge. It was a great tour. I live in Europe and i hope that generations after me also never forget when, what and where the freedom started and who gave their lives for our freedom. My daughter will certainly remember this D-Day....she's on a plane to Ft Jackson to start her military career. |
