Since my attendance here will be spotty, at best, over the next few days, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish each of you Hoglets a very Merry Christmas (or whatever holiday you profess to celebrate  ).

Hope all have had a Merry Christmas, and our best wishes for the new year to come.

My wife has finished her last round of chemo, and knock on wood, we've seen her blood counts bottom out and start to climb without her spiking a fever, so no hospital stay this time. We did spend the entire day at the hospital yesterday getting 1 unit of plateletts and 2 of red blood cells, her counts are now much higher but she still has a lot of stiffness in her joints. We really appreciate your thoughts and prayers. We're hoping to have her fully recovered by the end of January.

Wow, seems like a lifetime since I have beeen able to sit and read through the threads. But I have a house load of people that I frankly don't want to deal with right now so I'm hiding in plain sight and ignoring everyone. I just want to drop everyone a happy and especially a safe new year. I wish so badly I was still a member of the Hog community. It pains me sometimes it really does. It would be great if this year we converted from F-15's back to Hogs. But to those of you maintaners that are still in the fight; I wish you the best in the coming years.

Our thoughts are with you and your wife Ice, hope she is feeling better quickly.

As for joint pain, i may be able to help her. I have frequent joint pain )and see a chiropractor) for a overly heavy lifting job and a previous shoulder injury. A few months ago i was having bad knee pain at work, and i started on a product from the vitamin ship called hyalaronic acid. after 1 month, the joints we barely hurting. The still make terrible noises but no more pain. I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the tip Racegal. We both have had torn ACL's, both of mine and one of hers, and this may really help in that regard. However, the pain she is experiencing now is inside the bone itself, and caused by the re-growth of the bone marrow that had it's butt kicked by the chemo. Each time she's been through the chemo, the pain of the re-growth has been worse. Luckily, this was her last chemo treatment. We just met with her Oncologist this morning, and her blood counts are nearly back to normal, and the bone and joint pain is easing. We hope to have her back to normal within a few weeks.

I'll be sure to pass on the link to the Vitamine shoppe you posted. I know I'm interested in it. Thanks again,
