Post subject:  Witnessing demand from a different quarter

In some of the major countries that depend on agriculture, there is going to be less grain and vegetable harvests if the present trend in global warming is not reversed. Along with the fall in annual rainfall and the melting glaciers, there is going to be a significant increase in contagious diseases due to the emergence of a concept called disease resistance. Resistance to diseases that have been completely eradicated is baffling to the medical fraternity.

When sea levels rise, there will be inundation of land and people living on the sea shore will have to move to safer places. If the present sea levels rise, the amount of brackish water will increase and thus the fisheries sector may get affected. These are all theories being made by experts but a clear political will is needed to effect major changes. Due to political and economic problems, the third world countries are finding it difficult to achieve anything significant in this front.

However, many of the national governments in the gulf have started putting in place contingency plans to meet any exigency. The health care infrastructure in the UAE and other countries are of world class and most often people do not want to go out of their home country for medical treatment. Even though the desert conditions are so severe the ingenuity of the national government to develop agriculture is praiseworthy. When agricultural farm or land area useful for agriculture is put up for sale property *link removed* prices may not be high but it is interesting to note that there are investors who wish to invest in this sector also.

And the award for most nonsensical post on the forum goes to.....

Wright, you are more than welcome to this forum, but can you be more clear in your post? That made zero sense, and I don't think anyone who reads it will understand what you are trying to get at. Is it a question? A rant? A statement? Or just spam?
