Checked today and the old forums and my website is no more...sad. Like it or not people this is our new home and we need to promote it and support it or it will die to...just saying.

I think its a shame. I don't like the way Facebook require you to cough up too much info about yourself.

I also prefer forums over facebook. While this forum is pretty quiet, It is still an option for if facebook ever goes the way of myspace. It's relatively effortless to maintain both, so neither shoudl be going anywhere unless forced by an outside cause.

Do you guys think that if I added a Facebook plug-in which would speed-up registration to this board, more people would come?

About a day or two of work once I get to it.
I would be getting some holiday soon, so I'll try to look at it.

Also, wouldn't Dice want to host Warthog Pen here if he has some kind of backup somewhere?

And finally, I've found this website:
http://warthognews.blogspot.co.uk
but it seems to be dying slowly as well (last update March 13, 2013).

Maybe we could arrange interchange of banners with it's owners and ask them that if they ever decide to close the site, we would gladly take over so that all their work wouldn't come in vain...

Warthog News is also a facebook page Joachim Jacob runs.
He still posts stuff regularly on it, and I didn't realized the regular webpage hadn't been updated in a while. He also posts in the Warthog Territory fb page every so often.
Looks like facebook is taking everything over. I think fb is great for some things, but forums are a much better method of discussion than fb.
