Since this may end up being the "Merry Christmas" thread, I too will add my wishes to all in the Forum Family for very Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year! King George II on Gen. James Wolfe: "Mad, is he? Then I wish he'd bite more of my other generals!" |

Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope y'all have a happy and safe holiday season. Ted Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They should both be changed regularly and for the same reason. |

Great Hebrew, PCC! As my job as Hebrew translater for the WT, here are the translations: Moadim Lesimkha means Happy Holidays, and Chenatove (Shana Tova) means happy New year. The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his. -General George Patton |

Hope everyone had a great Christmas! And are looking forward to a wonderful 2003. Best present I got was a phone call from 30MM Jr on Christmas Day (0200 the 26th, his time). He's well and doing well. Has a lot more respect for full-timers who get 90 day+ rotations. Seems the weather was at the mins early on the 25th, so he and the other newbie CC went on the mission, in case the bird had to be diverted to another base. In flight the auto-pilot crapped out, so while the other guy dug out the TO he started tracking down the problem, found it and restored the system. When they landed the pilot said "If I could get you a medal, I would. But I can't so...drinks are on me!" One of the AF's better traditions, according to him! King George II on Gen. James Wolfe: "Mad, is he? Then I wish he'd bite more of my other generals!" |
