I can see 422 test and eval squadron patch on it.
Think that would be a nice addition in the stocking this year.
Wonder if Santa can check his list to see who has been good.

Plane Crazy you're right it's is a 422 patch from Nellis AFB and yes Boomer it is a squadron challenge coin. It's from the A-10 test and eval Squadron named Thunder. I can get them for $6 dollor each..here I go again LOL...and have them in a couple of weeks.
As you can see the patches are small and a little hard to read but all in all a nice looking coin. The finish is a high gloss silver(which is hard to see in the scan) and really looks nice.

Ugly but well hung!

Thunder AMU is the Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU) that supports both the 422 TES A-10s as well as the USAF Weapons School A-10s. The A-10 Division's patch is just above the 422 patch. The other three patches are the 57 AGS, Thunder Weapons and 57 EMS. As best as I can read them, anyway.
