Anyone who has not seen it yet, the footage of the 7th Cavalry in it's charge across the Iraqi desert is really something else.

It might as well be NTC, it all looks so familiar to the old grunt in me.

Theose boys are mighty safe with those Kiowa Warriors prowling overhead.

Finished reading <i>Into the Storm</i>. I have to say, An American Cav. unit has the possibility of being indestructable.

Was watching the 3/7 cavalry on CNN again tonight.

That unit is about 7,000 tons of self contained whoop ass. :)

I love em'.

NPR had a pretty impressive report about a recent firefight. Bradleys vs Iraqi armed pickup trucks. Can't say those Iraqis aren't brave. Can't say they're around anymore either.
