OK, there have been a few negative posters popping up lately, so here is my response. (Since the topics get locked B4 I can get a shot in.)
To all you guys (and ladies) who are, or have served in our armed forces.
Thank You.
Thank You for the risks you took, the b%llsh!t you put up with, and the time you took to "do it right".
Thank You for the freedom to express myself without fear. Thanks, even, for the freedom some of these idiots have to express themselves.
Thank You for the right to laugh at an "Information Minister" straight from comedy central. Thank You that we don't have a U.S. minister of Information.
Thank You for the knowledge that my wife, my children, and I sleep without fear of secret police, death squads and concentration camps.
Thank You for being the kind of soldiers, sailors, and airmen that, at every chance, demonstrate humanity, even to a wounded enemy who wouldn't do the same.
Thank You for the guns, the vote, and about a thousand other things I can't remember right now.
Thank You, most of all, to the boys who didn't come home. We will never forget.
God Bless you all.
