Police in New Castle County, Del., say Jonathan Rodriguez,
17, Joseph Denham, 18, and Daniel Cote, 19, planned a home-invasion
robbery. But things went wrong when Rodriguez knocked on the house's
front door -- with the butt of a handgun. The gun went off, shooting
him in the groin. He was arrested at the hospital where he went for
treatment, along with Denham, who apparently drove him there. Cote
was arrested separately.

"This is one you'll hear about in the
bizarro files about one of the world's dumbest criminals," said
county police spokesman Trinidad Navarro.

I agree Snipe.

But take solace in this:

<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>The gun went off, shooting him <b>in the groin</b>.<hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size=2 id=quote>
There's more joy to be found in the fact that idiots and @$$holes like this can't procreate anymore than meets the eye. Though it doesn't specify "where" in the groin, I'm hoping it got him in his buddy. (Wouldn't normally wish this on very many people, but given the circumstances...)
