WELL I'VE BEEN UP SINCE 0400,COULDNT SLEEP,FINALLY GOT THE COMPUTER UP RUNNING,NEW MODEM,MORE MEMORY,CLEANED OUT A TON OF OLD FILES,LOADED NEW ANTI-VIRUS(NORTON WORKS)UPDATED CAMERA SOFTWARE. THE SUN IS JUST COMMING UP AND ITS 31F OUTSIDE AND FORST ON THE PUMPKIN. TOO EARLY THIS YEAR NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN UNTIL AFTER THE 15TH.COLD AGAIN TONITE ALSO. FARMERS GOING HELL BENT ON FURRY TO GET WHAT THEY CAN IN,EVERYTHING WAS LATE SO THESE FORST ARE GOING TO HURT THE CROPS. SEE ALOT OF PHESANTS THIS YEAR,MORE THEN USUALLY,DEER POP IS GOING TOBE HIGH. JUST AROUND HERE HAD 3 DOES ALL SUMMER WITH TWIN FAWNS. BIG NOW. HAVENT SEEN ANY BUCKS YET,FOR THAT FACT NO COYOTES LATELY EITHER. I GUESS AFTER THE 500 ACRES OF CORN THAT SURROUNDS THIS PLACE ON ALL SIDES EXCEPT FOR THE SOUTHESAT AND SOUTH WEST CORNERS WHICH ARE BEANS NOW THE OLD WIND IS GOING TO BEAT THE HELL OUT OF US. TIME TO STOCK UP ON FOOD,WATER,GAS AND GET READY FOR OLD MAN WINTER,HEY APRIL IS ONLY 6 MONTHS AWAY<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> JUST KILLING TIME THINKING ABOUT THIS YEAR I GUESS AT 40 YOU THINK ABOUT IT MORE,IF YOU STILL CAN JUST DOING OUT LOUD THINKING. Hey buddy you can ramble whenever your heart desires. Amie and the kiddies send their best. Hope Cheryl is doing better also. The trees here in new England are starting to change and leaves are fallin'. I got these two monster oak trees in my front yard that dump about fifteen bags of leaves a piece each year. I wanted to take them down but the town sayd no way. They are much to old. I am guessing at least 150 years . I dont know if I would have the heart to actually take them down. But I hate raking leaves. There doesnt seem to be any young kids that want to rake for money like when I was young (which wasnt all that long ago). By this time tomorrow I shall have gained either a pearage or Westminster Abbey........Nelson

yeah it's been in the 50s for highs all week 15º below norm.We have a wood furnace, just like a gas furnace but you keep it loaded with wood. I used to actually LIKE to saw and split wood back when I had the free time to do it!! 50's ? Downright cold ? Surely you jest. My wife leaves the bedroom windows open with the fan on AND sleeps on top of the sheets untill December. Thats downright cold. By this time tomorrow I shall have gained either a pearage or Westminster Abbey........Nelson

I'LL BEAT THAT BILLY, CJ WEARS A SWEATER OR JACKET UNTIL JUNE,NO MATTER WHAT IT IS (85F) BUT THEN SHE PUTS THE SUMMER STUFF AWAY AFTER LABOR DAY,THIS YEAR SHE WAS RIGHT. Boy do I miss those days. What I wouldn't give to build a snowman in my front yard again. IMO Arizona sucks! Give me my old Michigan "Lake effect snow" anytime! My wife is from here and even she wants out!! Ahh well. My grandfather had open-heart to R2 a bad valve. I was hoping to be up there but my measly pay and gas guzzling SUV had other plans. Another North Dakota winter is skulking ever closer...20 degrees below zero a few times last year, with one dip to minus 30. Didn't get above zero for over two weeks at one point. Time to get the oil in both Jeeps changed and start dumping #1 diesel into the tank of my 4wd LUV diesel (to thin out the biodiesel that gels in the winter). Fuel tank in the basement is full, 260 gallons of biodiesel, and 235 in barrels in the garage. Survival gear goes in all the trucks soon... Virgin snow, like a saints reprieve, covers the sins of unfinished work until the spring, like a bill for services rendered, reminds us that life goes on, and so must we... Good News... All's well. I guess he had his breathing tube removed a little too early so he had a few problems, but I guess after a few days he had it removed again and told the nurses to "Leave me the F&^* alone, I can take care of my damn self!" So now he's back to being his old, hard headed Marine ass. Thanks for the offer of help Goose. Thankfully it was not needed. "ESTA= Everyone Staggering To the Airplanes!"
