As the new Iraqi army is being constituted, one if forced to wonder when will the Iraqi airforce take to the air again. Since they have no operational aircraft, who is going to sell aircraft to them. I hope not the french. Lockheed and boeing could use the contracts.

Ok if you had to build an airforce right now

Would you give them some F-4, f-16, and a-7 from the bone yard to give them some seed aircraft. Any ideas?

I agree but it will be interesting seeing how one is put together, you just can leave a nation with out one.

There were a lot of flight schools that closed after nine-eleven. We could always give 'em a few C-172's. Let them practice dropping bags of flower. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

New Zealand has no air force....They gave up the last of their A-4's a few years ago.

With all those kick ass Kiwi women there, who would want to attack New Zealand? lol
