Hey, All, If any of you have played the PC Game Battlefield 1942 you may know that there's a mod out called Desert Combat (third party) that is supposedly awesome. (You can download it free from Gamespy. 500+ MB...dial-up need not apply). It uses the BF1942 game engine but incorporates current Gulf War weapons. I heard somewhere that it had A-10's in it. It is, and reletively fun to fly. the aircraft are not modeled to high fidelity more for the entertainment calue and only fly at one speed. but it is still fun non the less. Thanks, MrMudd. I downloaded it last night and haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Just got a new computer that's capable of running all these games. BF1942 is a ton of fun. Yes, it's an arcade game and not a sim, but it's a blast. Gotta be careful not to spend too much time playing it. It's addictive. Anyone playing on Gamespy can look me up as "Icedawg".
