You’re probably going to have to give us a little more to go on than that…

If you have a quick look back at some of the old posts you’ll see the kind of stuff that keeps us interested.

But as a quick introduction…

You’re off to a good start if you fly stuff, probably not lawndarts though (some day some body will tell what the hell one of those is. When I was a kid you threw them up in the air and they stuck in the ground…Ah… I think I’ve just figured it out…)

Blowing stuff up is good as well.

Other folk doing stupid stuff and getting hurt normally gets a few posts and leather clad lesbian twins kept us going for a while.

Hating the French is good to.

Apart from that the choice is yours…

I've got a topic...

Does anybody know where one could find that alleged "video" recently released featuring Paris Hilton and her boyfriend?

Dl'ing it right now as I post

Not that I like Paris: she's an anorexic who's only famous because of Daddy's money, but as a collector's item and a source of future income(when I make copies)

So, uh...

Where is it? And can I, since bringing it to everyone's attention (and thus probably creating some interest among the populace here, thus probably creating some revenue if you proceed with copy-and-sell plan), get a free copy??

I wouldn't be so dog-gone interested, but the radio show I listen to each morning on the way to work was talking about it. The whole crew (including one married female that was even enjoying watching it) was talking about how good it was... made me a bit jealous.

I'm getting it off of an FTP file sharer. If you can, try the popular ones: eg. Kaza, Morpheus, etc. However, don't get your hopes up just yet.
Most things on the internet are not what they appear to be.
But if this is the real thing, then Sure frogger, I'll mail you a freebie.

What radio show do you listen to? I first heard about this commotion on Stern; he said it was not good. Although, he might be trying to help out the parents by down-playing it.

*Check, and mate 44 hollowpoint- Good one.

*** DISCLAIMER - The following post is a bunch of horsecrap, so don't give me any lip about being wierd... I already know that. ***

Okay, let's see... I'm probably completely wrong and off-base here, but I'll take a shot at it anyway.

The speed of light is roughly 186,000 miles per second. If "dark" is defined as the 'absence of light,' then the speed of "dark" can be one of three things:

(A) the opposite of the speed of light, or -186,000 miles per second,
(B) the LACK of light, therefore the lack of speed, therefore the speed would be zero,
-or-
(C) the exact same speed as the speed of light.

The problem with the second option is that dark HAS to have a speed. For example, if you aim a low-powered laser at a wall and turn the laser off, there is a delay (more than likely difficult to pick up with the human eye) between the time that you turn it off and the time that the 'red dot' is gone. The "speed of dark" is the speed at which the light leaves, in a sense.

(A) and (C) are pretty much the same thing (absolute value is the same, anyway), so since I ruled out (B) I'm gonna have to go with one of them.

(Okay, what's the real answer, so that my ignorant logic can be proven wrong?)

Ok in my Infinite wishdom of being a high school scientist, who's fighting Newton (I hate his thrid law, it's just stupid), you are correct with B mostly. Because darkness is the abstance of light the lag from the laser is not darkness filling in light, but the tail end of the light. If you Flashed a super powerful flashlight in to space for one Second you would get a line (vector) with a beging and an end and it would be 186,000 miles long. SO darkness has no speed because it has no properties like light.
damn I didn't even think I would get that,

now on to Newton, first he's a big stinky head. Second His thrid law doesn't work. If the was truely an equal force reacting in the oppoiste direction of another the two forces should canncle out and there would be no movement. Let's look at a peice of paper if I hit it I apply a force to it should apply the same force back to my hand in the opposite direction, so the two forces canncle out and there is no movement, but there is so Newton is wrong I am right, and I'm waiting for someone to name a measurement after me...here we have two flyboys worth of...

Dear Abby, I joined the Navy to see the world. I've seen it. Now,
how do I get out?

Flyboy got it spot on,the speed of dark vs light is like saying which is faster the front bumper of a car or the back.

Newtons 3rd law would apply to your shoulder muscles etc, not the paper since the muscle is where the force begins. The paper scenario falls under the rules of kinetic energy, I assure you however much force you apply to the paper, the paper WILL react to it by moving or tearing.

But I'm on your side with fighting established rules, I have a test which shows that a wing does NOT develope lift in the way that we have always been taught, but does anybody listen to ME ? of course not lol

I hate his thrid law, it's just stupid...

WHAT!???

Newton's 3rd law states:
To every action there is an equal an opposite reaction.

Flyboy, because we can apply the third law we get things like cars, trains and, oh yes, Airplanes. Without that law your user-name would look quite silly.

*Now don't let me catch you saying that you hate Bernoulli's Principle; it's go-time after that!
