we got 3 inches at my house, it quickly turned to slush, not fun to play in, or sled. but closed down schools, then again we've been closed for the chance of snow before. Dear Abby, I joined the Navy to see the world. I've seen it. Now, how do I get out? |

Yeah buddy I got more than 4 inches. We got about 14 at my house. Took me and the youngins about three hours to shovel out. I can see a TDY paycheck going to a snowblower next year. But I have to admit I really do like the snow. For so many years it seemed like our big New England winters were a thing of the past. These past three winters I have really enjoyed. I like mounds of snow. OK everybody ready for a good movie line ? Who said this ? 'Dude look at all this snow........can you imagine what the street value of this mountain is ?' By this time tomorrow I shall have gained either a pearage or Westminster Abbey........Nelson |

Alright! Winter comes to St Louis: rain mixed with freezing rain, changing to sleet mixed with snow (around rush hour!), changing to all snow this evening! You can just hear all the weekend 4x4ers locking in those hubs, hitting the 'all-wheel drive' buttons and shifting into 4 high! LMAO! NOW they can do 60-70 in whatever Ma Nature throws at 'em! Yeah....winter got to Robins Georgia too...60s during the day & 40s at night....it snowed a couple years ago, about 2 inches, shut everything down...in all honesty...we don't get snow, but it'll get cold come mid january & february....highs in the 30s & 40s.... I think it's important to tell you all that I live in Virgina. The last couple of winters have been real bad. Last winter we got about 2-3 inches every thrusday, no joke. Every Thrusday for a month it snowed. We love snow here, the news will talk about it for a couple days before and after each time. it's ok I love snow. btw hawg, what movie? Dear Abby, I joined the Navy to see the world. I've seen it. Now, how do I get out? |
