44 I know you also like this topic.
I´m sure there are some others too.

BTW I´ve got no "high end" home cinema, but I like it.
- TV is Sony 100HZ, you know the metric system I think it´s 78cm. I´d like to have a huge one...But these are very expensive..
Receiver is a Yamaha 6.1. (RX-V640RDS)- I dont have a rear center, I´m planning one...
- DVD player is a cheap one, next thing I´ll do is to test a better one, I´d like to see/hear if there´s a big difference.
- Subwoofer is a little Yamaha YST-015. (Should be changed, too, I know, it´s to small)
- Front Speaker Magnat Vector 77
- Front Center Quadral (from my old Stereo)
- Rear Speaker small Magnat
- Playstation 2 for fun
- Most Important Component: NO Neighbours <img src=newicons/anim_cussing.gif border=0 align=middle>complaining about the noise!!

<img src=newicons/idea.gif border=0 align=middle>Ahh, no, that was the 2nd most component, I forgot: NO wife/girlfriend in the house...

Homer, nice set-up, that Yamaha amp kicks ass big time...

TV Sony 28"-FQ75U 100hz DRC
DVD & SACD Sony DVPNS-705V
AMP Sony STR-DB1080 6.1
Front B&W DM602 S3
Rears B&W DM601 S3
F&R Centres B&W LCR60 S3
Sub Woofer B&W ASW 675 (500w definately not too small)
In theory 1,200 watts of output
Sony PS2 just for fun also

Can match no neighbours but have a wife model 1.0 installed. This gadget does limit the max system output.

OK now that everybody else thinks we are total dweebs lets try and save our reputations by naming the best every gunfight in a film...

The winner have to be the street shoot out after the failed heist in Heat (the re-make of LA takedown).

I have played this at damn near full vol and it is AMAZING...

SONY 53" Trinitron,
Onkyo 500 watt(5x100 watt integral mono amps) surround reciever with
Onkyo 12 band amplified EQ(30 watt output)
4x Cerwin Vega 12"woofer 3 way front speakers,
2x Bose 301Phase III rear speakers,
1x Infinity Sterling center speaker
1x Yamaha 500 watt powered subwoofer.

When the dolby surround intro plays at the beginning of a movie my entire house shakes. :)

My neighbors have long since left.... ;)

B&W speakers are great... A few weeks ago I tested some at a local shop. Very nice sound!!!

Good DVDs for a home cinema, just to name a few:
- Saving Private Ryan
- We were soldiers once..and young
- Top Gun (the first 10 minutes when they show all the action on the carrier with the "danger zone" theme)
- Lord of the Rings - DTS

Sniper, M&M:
53", 60", 72"....<img src=newicons/tard.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>

I want I want <img src=newicons/anim_cussing.gif border=0 align=middle> I want I want !!!

B&W speakers should be the #1 choice for any Hog fan.

Every review of the 600 series says "They look ugly but can deliver the goods no matter what you throw at them"...

Sound familiar anyone..?

I'm starting to see why some Euro - <img src=newicons/anim_cussing.gif border=0 align=middle> 'ing - peans are a bit jealous of our American friends.

Everything in the USA seems to be twice as big.

Houses,
Cars,
Guns,
TV screens,
See where this is going?
...

LOL, perhaps this explains why the GI's were so popular with the English ladies during WWII...
