Poke raised a good point. That THM is nothing like the United States Air Force Academy.

Have an open question:

What's the actual being broken in of, and breaking in four pointers like? As opposed to that graphically violent cartoon?

Dude, simmer.

Reread your sentence. The one that I quoted for you. Read it out loud to yourself.

What, exactly, are you asking? You are asking us to compare something to THM. I understand that well enough. But, sentences need a subject and a verb, and I can't identify either in the first "sentence" that you wrote. What is it that you would like to know about THM?

Ahem!

Seen when the "four pointers" line up in the hallway and the Senior Students get in thier faces.

I was asking what the real life version of that was like. Both giving and recieving?

As opposed to what happens in that cartoon?

Excuse me, Snipe Security? Throw Mr.Mudd outta my topic! <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

P.s. Sorry about earlier Lt.

Think I went a little longer without working out than I should have. (People tend to get irritable if they skip it)

Well i have to say that i agree with poke here.

Your posts are sometimes extremely hard to decipher, lol.

You have a tendency to put periods where commas should be, and put commas where nothing should be. ;)

PS...that's just Mr. Mudd's way of saying he loves you. ;)

Hey, after being with Israeli's and seeing how they talk and write, I understand most of what Lunatock is saying.

I'm glad you do BR. The start of this thread made no sense and hasn't gotten much better since.

If it's a straight answer to my question I want. Think I'll have to go into instructor mode.

<font size=5>I don't want Mr.Mudd to tell me he loves me! I want an answer!</font id=size5>

Now once again. An open question to any USAF personel.

What is the real life version of lower ranked cadets standing w/ their backs to the wall like?

And the upperclassmen getting in thier faces like?

Would anyone that'd done both, be so kind as to field that question?

I think you ARE cursed...

... with a dire lack of understanding of English grammar.

Is English a second language? You might be able to find some reading/writing classes in your area that could help.

For example, your last post:

<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>Hrmm...am I somehow cursed?

That any involvment or Q & A with the USAF what so ever.

Always turns out like this?
<hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size=2 id=quote>

should have been written :

<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>Hrm. Am I somehow cursed, that any involvement or Q & A with the USAF what-so-ever always turns out like this?<hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size=2 id=quote>

He's also ending his dependent clauses with periods, but let's not get too picky.

Furthermore, I thought it was bad manners to correct someone's faulty grammar/English.

oh hell Poke's trying to teach 'tock grammer.

And in answer to your question "tock, it sucks to be the cadet against the wall and its fun to be the cadet yelling at the cadet against the wall.... well at least that was how it was in JROTC :)

and you can ask Froggy I was a good yeller.

Overkill??? I'd kill a fly with a howitzer if I had one.

It's easy. in 90% of the cases when there is a period, insert a comma instead. Get rid of the blank lines and you can understand what he's saying.

Well, it's not like I just wander around correcting everyone's grammar. However, when more often than not you can't even convey your meaning to your audience, it's time to do something about it! There's poor grammar, and then there's lunacy. <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

We DO like you Tock, but honestly, you are exceedingly difficult to understand.

If i may make a suggestion, stop using punctuation entirely.

For instance...

"Hrmm am I somehow cursed That any involvment or Q & A with the USAF what so ever Always turns out like this"

See, it's still wrong, but it IS intelligible!

Don't knock Lunacy. It got me a few promotions. Most Improved Student of the Year for 03. And 1 second & fourth place sparring trophy for both the tournaments I've been in so far.

I'd probably be a nobody if I was completely sane. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Which, as everyone knows, is so popularly used nowadays, as opposed to words like understandable, coherent, clear, etc...

Lunatock:
I'm not the forum's authority on prose, but I honestly have not understood, mmmm...85% of what you post since you came to this forum.

I'll make a suggestion: Be terse, pithy, and to the point.

This:<i>"Hrmm am I somehow cursed That any involvment or Q & A with the USAF what so ever Always turns out like this"</i>

Might be this:

<i>Hmmm, I can't get anywhere with the USAF in terms of q&a/involvement. Am I cursed? </i>

Just a suggestion

Fun fact. My typing is almost like how I talk. Except I talk fast.

""I got a suggestion. But Snipe would yell at me.". A good start?"

Just leave out the period Luna.

It's the seemingly random placement of punctuation that makes your posts hard to decipher, lol.

"But" is a coordinating conjunction.
Use a comma before it.

*check out my previous post to you:
I edited my suggestion and took out the comma between "USAF and in"; I didn't really need it.
