Brings up a serious dilemna I have: The army has sent me to a Pre-Military Academy for a year before I enlist. One the one hand, it means more preperation in time for the army, on the other hand it means it takes me longer to go and fight for my country.

A US Army captain of Infantry that i'd never met before, and never saw again, Dec 21st, 1989, on a C-130 bound for Panama. One of the things from my days in the army i'll never forget. I wish i'd caught his name.

I know, but the more time I spend out of the military, it means someone else is putting their life on the line for me, and longer until I get the privelege to do the same
