Just DO IT...Or NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT IT AGAIN!

Please forward this on to all veterans and widows of veterans!

OK Folks...It's "fish or cut bait" time!!!!!! Congress goes back to work today! Sept. 7, 2004

Just DO IT...Or NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT IT AGAIN!

Fax & Phone Numbers Below:

OR

Use the EANGUS toll free number, 866-877-4455 or this switchboard
202-224-3121 and when speaking with each office, make sure the person your are speaking with understands you want your comments addressed to the members role on the NDAA Conference Committee deliberations.

Ask them to include Sen. Reids Amendment on Retirement pay for the !00% Disabled Military Retirees and cut the 10 year period to 5 years, HR 3474 "Keep Our Promise To America's Military Retirees Act" language into the NDAA Conference Report and sustain the SBP language as passed by the House of Representatives NDAA Bill.

Troops, spouses, and widows,

We have identified all the members of the Conference Committee that will iron out differences between the House of Representatives and Senate versions of the National Defense Authorization Act(NDAA) Bills which includes Sen. Reids Amendment on Retirement pay for the !00% Disabled Military Retirees and cut the 10 year period to 5 years the SBP provision.
WE FAVOR THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES VERSION OF THE NDAA AS IT RESTORES SBP TO 55% BY 2008 RATHER THAN 10 YEARS AS PASSED IN THE SENATE VERSION.

This an URGENT repeat to remind all of us that we are nearing the crunch point in the Congressional year......It's "fish or cut bait" time....either we mount
and continue a gigantic phone calling, emailing, faxing campaign to get SBP and HR3474/S2065 language in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)
Conference report, or wait until next year which may never come for many of us.

Here are the Senate members of the NDAA Conference Committee:
