All I can say is thank heavens for the Rose Bowl, the only Bowl not to make its name sound utterly stupid by adding a sponsor to the prefix! I have two questions:

1. Does anyone know of a website that lists the "old" names of bowl games so I can possibly figure out what the new bowls used to be called?

2. What's the worst bowl name/sporting complex name in the country?? My vote is the GMAC Bowl (bowl name) and the defunct Enron Field (sporting complex name). What the heck?

There's the Humanitarian.com bowl in Boise, ID. It's played at Boise State's home field, which is outdoors and on blue, yes blue astroturf. This bowl may no longer be, though. The last time I watched it was two years ago when Clemson played Georgia Tech. <img src=newicons/anim_lol.gif border=0 align=middle>

Wow, why is everyone beating up Boise? LOL, I've been to that bowl game twice. I used to live 3 miles from the stadium. Boise is a really neat town with tons of stuff to do.

It looks pretty cool when you're there. The TV doesn't do it justice.

Snipe, I'll have to make my way up to Philly sometime when I get back from the ROK. I'll be stationed in NC then and my brother is stationed at Dover. I'll be near Philly plenty. I might have to drop in.
