1. Have exactly 8 conferences in Division I-A: ACC, Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, MAC, Mountain West, Pac 10, and SEC. Teams in the now Defunct Conference USA, Sunbelt, and WAC must now join another conference or move down to Division I-AA.

2. The champions of the 8 conferences play in a playoff system for the national championship which will rotate between the site of the Sugar, Rose Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, and Orange Bowl. The Bowls themselves will not be affected.

3. Teams must be in a conference to play for the national championship. This means you Fighting Irish and Midshipman.

4. Bowls will be decided by the pre-BCS system except for the National Championship bowls.

Too much $$$$$$$$$$$$$ with the bowl system.

Bowls would still happen normally. The BCS would just be replaced by a playoff system and a national championship bowl would be added to the mix.
