Well...Washington did get the greatest state in the union named after him <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> Though he would probably shake his head at our current ultra-liberal goverment on the west side. <img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>

I just couldnt see how they could pick "ONE" to be the greatest American.
Some of those people didnt even need to be on the list.Movie stars (exception Reagan) ,those Hollywood types.

But you think back to Washington and the founding fathers,inventers,military leaders,presidents,civil rights leaders,the list goes on,I figured at the end they would say
"No one is the greatest ,it took them all to make America the country it is today,their all great in their own right"

Not just pick one.

But if they had to pick one I like the GIPPER.
