Well Paris didn't get the Olympics, but London did.

It's the French's <img src=newicons/spit.gif border=0 align=middle> fault for specialising only in one sport, the 15km retreat...

I wonder if Blair will be able to keep a grin off his face when he meets the President of the Cheese eating surrender monkeys at G8 today.

From what i heard 44 the french <img src=newicons/spit.gif border=0 align=middle> don't retreat.......they "attack" quickly in the oposite direction from the action! <img src=newicons/anim_lol.gif border=0 align=middle> <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

I think Paris is a better party town than London, but I'll try to go anyway. I sort of speak the language in London and my brother is living in Oxford now. I had an unexpectedly good time when the summer Olympics were in Atlanta in '96. It was an opportunity of a lifetime. The games are good but the IOC is obnoxious and corrupt. Everyone in Atlanta despises the former president of the IOC, Juan Antonio Samaranch (pronounced "Sombitch" here), the Spanish facist. He didn't get the Royal treatment he was accustomed to and was therefore unhappy. Other members of the IOC entourage were equally obnoxious. Everyone had fun anyway. Good stuff.
