To ya'll in Texas,
YFU (Youth for Understanding) is in desparate need of good host families for students. Especially one German boy who is a car freak and wants to be a pilot. I would take him if we had the room, but we don't!
I think it doesn't get any better than this.
If you have ever thought about hosting a foreign exchange student, I can assure you it is a great experience! My wife is the area representative in Wichita Falls, but could get you in contact with the right people in your area.
This kid is not the only one who still needs a family, there are more! Some of them arrive this week and others next week. Welcome to WT. I dont live in Texas and sorry I could not host a foreign student. I do have a 16yr old son that I would glady loan out for a few weeks. Free of charge ,heck just keep him.

Shocki, I wish I could help you but, I just left Wichita Falls about 10 months ago. Good luck in your search. You'll find someone.
