Our company has closed it's office in Houston as Rita get's closer.

Looks like Texas is taking lessons from what happened in Louisiana.

I have to feel for the poor sods evacuated from NO to Houston. They're on the move again...

Yeah there's a fairly long list of Texican's that I've been trying to keep in touch with. Either they aren't in the hurricane's path, or they grabbed a lap top as one of their prised posessions and got the hell outta dodge.

Returning somewhat to topic...Heard an interesting item on the way in thei a.m.; of the 5 states hit or to be hit by the Katrina-Rita one/two punch, 4 of them have male, Republican govenors and 4 of them have done a credible job of evacuation and calling for fed help early. Hmmmm...
