I've been slowly customizing this for about a year and a half now.

Behold, the only railed Viridian C5L equipped P-7 in the world:

100 lumen strobe light/day green laser sight backed up with Trijicon tritium 3 dot night sights.

With a dash of Burris Fastfire II red dot sight for some extra flavor:

It only cost me $1500 in gun, gunsmithing and optics to get here.

Pistol modeled here by the beautiful Arazel:

And modeled by ugly old me:

Seen here with a Surefire 6PX 170 lumen LED light mounted to the rail with the Fastfire II HUD installed. This is an absolutely awesome combo in low light conditions.

Even with the rail installed it fits very nicely in my leather Galco rigs.

Here it is with a naked rail:

This is the most ridiculously accurate, easy to shoot, yet user friendly and secure pistol i have ever fired, let alone owned.

SIERRA HOTEL! Damn, that's cool! Is the rail bolted on or welded or clipped on somehow?

I'm a firm believer in light rails on tactical pistols. I have 2 myself now, my Berretta Vertec and my Kimber TEII, that have rails. I really consider them to be my only Serious Carry Guns.

I love the night sights also, thougth I've never gotten comfortable with a holo-sight on a pistol. I tried it once but I caught myself spending too long looking for that dot. Your presentation has to be Dead Nuts On for those to be fast.

BTW: have you seen the latest issue of American Rifleman? Theres a great article in there on combat pistol shooting drills. Some of them are very humbling to be sure.

No, i haven't gotten up to my dad's to get my magazines lately, lol.

Thanks for the compliments!

The rail is bolted on with 3 bolts as well as a special sort of epoxy.

I'm about to get an Armalaser SR2-635 laser for it so i can carry it in my holsters. The Viridian is awesome, but no one makes a holster for a railed P7 with viridian...obviously. It's the only one in the world! :D

I don't much like the holosight on it either. I took that off, and replaced it with 3 dot tritium night sights.

The Fastfire II is on my Beretta 1200fp 12 ga semi now. The Viridian C5L is on my AR.

Yeah I absolutly love holo sights on long guns and carbines. Lightning fast!

I just picked up this holster from Cheaper Than Dirt, for my Kimber with the tactical light on it. It's very fast for a thigh rig and comfortable to wear when I'm on the road.

It actually wraps around the pistol so you can control the tension, and there's a strap across the bottom that the muzzle rests on. For a tactical rig, I really like mine.

Thanks!!!

It shoots like this:

Off hand unsupported aimed fire, 10 yards, Corbon 115gr+P JHP.

The P7 is one of the most accurate service pistols of all time, right up there with the Sig P210.

:D
