Pulled the trigger on another trigger, and did my part to stimulate the economy for the year.

Last years version of this:
http://www.kimberamerica.com/1911/tacti ... l-entry-ii
The same only it didn't have the huge bell magwell, nor the ambi-safety, and had rubber vs wood stocks. But was $250 under MSRP After taxes.

I'll have some pics tomorrow, I got in a little late last night.

I just hope the wife doesn't find out.Image

Another feature I really love is the 30 lines per inch checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing. It's like having the grip velcroed to your hand. Also the grip safety stands out a bit more for a more reliable firing, but it doesn't feel uncomfortable in the hand like some do.

My current 1911 family, The Kimber Tactical Entry II, The Rock Island Armory, and a Colt Mustang +2.

Happy 100th!

I almost forgot to post this. I finally got it out to the range a few weeks ago. This puppy handles like a dream!

This was shot at 10m, the tight group at the top is about 1\", 7 shots slow fire.

The lower ones were double tapped at the same range. I couldn't be happier. 8)
