Well, I may have to just freaking move. Colorado law makers are doing their best to ruin this state, just as Obama and his crowd are trying to ruin the nation. Yesterday, both the CO house and senate passed a series of anti gun bills and Gov. Hickenlooper has already said that he'll sign them all. So, by July, Magpul will be pulling up stakes and moving to either WY or TX, and from what I hear, TX has made them the better deal. Also I fully expect a raft of businesses like Cheaper-Than-Dirt to start boycotting the state and all who reside within, as these bills only affect the citizenry of CO, and not the Politicians, their representatives nor any form of law enforcement. They can all still have high cap mags, and the rest of us are screwed six ways from sunday. Yeah, I'm a little PISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSED!
1. Citizens will now have to pay for background checks, both for buying guns and for CCW's.
2. Background checks will now be mandatory on ALL gun sales AND transfers. So, if you want to give a gun as a gift to someone, you still have to pay for the background check.
3. Waiting periods on all firearm sales and transfers.
4. Ban on High Capacity Magazines. The big pisser here is that even though this is a ban on the magazine, it also affects guns like the Remington 870 Wingmaster shotgun. Why? Because these assholes wrote into the law that any weapon with an interal magazine, that can redily be explanded is prohibited. Since there are all kinds of magazine extensions for the 870, even one with a standard 5 round magazine will be outlawed. What a STUPID F$%KING LAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I may just hang up on CO and move fully to WY.
