I haven't seen it yet, but rumor has it the Nov "Fine Scale Modeler" has K.C. Chick's battle damaged Hawg as a featured article.

Yeah, Chris got it done, and the article was in the November issue that just came in.

Here's the website for FSM that shows the cover:

It should have a link to an A-10 website (www.warthogpen.com) for the support the sites webmaster gave the modeler builder and facts he provided on the incident for the article. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Also the model should be going to Pope for display in a trophy case.

I'm too lazy to search our site...was there any video taken of her RTB? I was wondering if there was a trail of smoke or exhaust behind her.

no video here but I did watch her bring that acft back. We were on our way home when we got the word and stopped to watch from the ECP to the compound. Didn't notice any trials of smoke or anything unusual as a matter of fact if we wouldn't have known about it being wounded you would have thought it was an ordinary landing. KC did an excellent job landing that aircraft....

capche-capche da - we go forward together

Yeah, Dice, I noticed that, but didn't have the heart to mention it because of the credit I felt you deserved. Chris has been pretty busy with a lot going on of late. I fielded him some info on 1/48 aftermarket sets, and discussed some techniques with him, but otherwise not very much.
