It seems to be a pretty uncommon kit, and after running a search, there doesn't seem to be any reviews on it. FineScale.com forum had a little blurb, with remarks ranging from a reboxed Revell-Monogram kit to being a substandard retooling of the Revell-Monogram offering.

If it isn't too expensive, buy both and then run a review.

Also, I'm heading off to the Seattle model show April 16th, and if one's open there, I'll take a look at it and let you know.

Why is it the biggest fools of most April Fools' jokes are the implementers?

thanks,
Seems the kit runs about 20 bucks... and it's always a good idea to have another 'hog' in the 'to build' stack. I'll let you know when it comes in.

ok, finially got ahold of the kit. basically it's a copy of the Tamyia kit, but the molding is not as crisp. It is a bit cheaper, you can get one for under $20.00 from most on line shops. but Just like the otther kit the trees are exactly the same including the 'early' ejection seat. The markings for the 'enduring freedom' jet I bought are for an 'FT" jet from the 23rd and an 'NO' jet complete with the 'Let's Roll' insignia. Decals look pretty nice actually and are the high point of the kit.

This one will take some 'crafting' to complete, a couple of aftermarket kits are called for I think ... a better cockpit and seat at a minimum. and some scratchbuilding of the LASTE bumps on the tail. But that's up to you, the builder.

Hobbycraft has also marketed another version with different decals, one of the jets is from Willow Grove I believe.

That's the skinny for now ...
Thanks
off to shoot a couple of the B'more birds at the Andrews openhouse.
