I'm still torn over vehicles, i really wanted the Grand Prix GTP but at $32,000.00 its looking a bit out of my price range.

So anyone have any suggestions on another hot looking, fast car thats fun to drive and won't kill me in payments?

UM, all of those are close to 30,000 dollars miss.

Why don't you just supercharge your 928 for 5000 instead?

With the exception of the 50,000+ dollar M3, i can and have smoked every car on your list. :)

Yeah close to or over $30,000.00

I really would supercharge the 928 but i don't want to use it as my daily driver (yet) there is so much more i want to do to the car before i stick a supercharger in! Speaking of the 928 i still have to call you about getting it inspected

hmmmm so does that mean if i buy the M3 i might finally be able to beat you? Interesting.....that one is moving to the top of my list now

...so the new M3 model is affordable for you, Racegal?
I dont know about the prices in the US, but here in Germany a 2002 E43 costs >30.000€...

E43 = 343hp
E36 new = 321hp
E36 old = 286hp

No the new M3 is completely out of my price range, but maybe i can find a resonalble used one.

Although now it might be a bit of an issue.....some ass driving a construction truck rammed the back of my explorer while i was at a red light like 1 hour ago.........no "real" damaged except a slightly loose rear bumper! Good thing i decided against driving the 928 to work today, or you might have seen me on the news!

would have been one dead construction truck driver...
I knew you are dangerous!!!

Back to your new car, a used M3 is still a great car, even the E36 with 321hp... I dont know how big the car should be, if I was looking for a M-BMW I´d choose the M3 Roadster... Here in G-many you could get a very good one for ~15.000€.

So Racegal, I see by reading another thread that you like the GTO. At least it is a V-8 powering the rear wheels as God intended. I own these manifestations of that theme.

This is my way cool 380 hp ride for cruising the hamburger stands on Saturday night. The problem is it can't pass any gas stations without going in for a drink. The supercharger whine makes it sound like it's gas turbine powered.

And this is my conservative 340 hp ride for going to church on Sunday, and taking the kids to the theme parks in Florida. It is so la-de-da refined. It turns off 4 cylinders in cruise to appease the environmentalists, the Nav system bitches at me to turn even when I know where I'm going, and the sat radio has 184 channels. Yes, everything from "gay pride talk" and "show tunes" to "heavy metal" is at my fingertips.

My commuter car is a ricer and I'm embarrased to mention it here. Some other time maybe.

Both sweet vehicles stress.

I've tussled with both flavors on many a saturday night in my 928S. :)

Very nice a10stress, i like the look of the truck better then the magnum....but you just can't beat that power.

Yeah i fell in love with the GTO, but didn't think i could afford one untill suddely a bright blue 2004 apeared at the dealer down the street. Its sitting in my driveway now, i just got home from signing all the papers!
