I've just watched a programme about sports cars and it mentioned the Skyline (not that it's a sports car, more of a Play Station) is banned from public roads in North America.

Can somebody fill me in..?

You mean all existing Skylines will be banned, or is it that its just not allowed to import new ones?

Cant imagine that one model could be banned completly.

But e.g. the Carrera GT (if produced after the 01.09.2005) is banned from the US, too. Because of a new law, which says the car has to have the "advanced airbag system".

yeah unfortunately Skylines are not aloud to be imported into the states.....(except for use in the 2 fast 2 furious movie)

The Infinity G35 coupe <b>IS</b> a Nissan Skyline.
SAME EXACT CARS.

And BTW, be carefull which ones you pick on as they are regulary tweaked to 600bhp + and in some cases 1,000

I know they'll blow up after not too long, but they'll be quick in a drag race.

The two of you look for people to eat your dust? Somewhere out there on the highways and backroads of Pa. is a guy driving a Ferrari that deserves some payback...

According to three associates of mine who were cruising the Pa. interstate flat out in an anniversary edition Camaro Z28, the guy in the Ferrari pulled up alongside them and went neck & neck for about a minute. Then he looked over, took his hat off to 'em, shifted gears, smoked his tires & then smoked them.
